52km Ho-Adaklu- Adidome Road Begins

As part of NDC 2012 manifesto to improve accessibility to major centres of population and tourism, construction work has begun in earnest on the 52-kilometer Ho-Adaklu-Adidome road to offer an alternative route to commuters who ply the Adomi Bridge.
The road project comes in handy as its completion will divert traffic from the Senchi ferry to facilitate the movement of vehicles that ply the area.
President Mahama inspected progress of work on the 52-km stretch on Sunday and pledged that government would ensure the speedy completion of the project.
The completion of the road would also allow the re-routing of big trucks and commercial vehicles that ply the Adomi bridge onto the 52-km stretch to enhance the life span of the bridge.
