Ghana: Adidome Farm Institute in Critical State

Adidome — The Adidome Farm Institute, in the Central Tongu District of the Region, continues to train the youth to acquire relevant employable skills, with emphasis on agriculture, but the school is currently facing serious challenges in the enrolment of students, even though the relevant teaching and learning materials and infrastructure, are available.

The Institute, which was established in 1964, was basically tasked to train the youth and all those interested in taking up agriculture as their first or second vocation, which would enable such people to engage in effective agriculture practices, as groups and individuals.
